We establish asymptotic formulas for each term of the trace formula when summing over $n<X$, using arbitrary smooth test functions at the places in $S=\{\infty,q_1,\dots, q_r\}$ where $2\in S$, for the standard representation, up to an error of $o(X)$. This yields an identity depending on a parameter $X$, leading to certain identities that can be regarded as a limit form of the trace formula for $\mathsf{GL}_2$ over $\mathbb{Q}$. On the spectral side, we employ the contour shift method and the Riemann-Lebesgue lemma. On the geometric side, both the identity part and the unipotent part contribute $o(X)$. The elliptic part was reduced to the hyperbolic part in a previous paper. Finally, using hyperbolic Poisson summation, we relate the hyperbolic part back to the spectral side and determine its contribution.2026-05-20T05:20:00ZYuhao Chenghttp://arxiv.org/abs/2602.02492v2Spherical representations of unitary groups at ramified places and the arithmetic inner product formula2026-05-20T01:00:39ZIn this article, we study admissible representations of even unitary groups over local fields, where the quadratic extension is ramified, with invariant vectors under the action of the stabilizer of a unimodular lattice and some properties of the corresponding integral model of unitary Shimura varieties. As a direct application, we are able to improve the arithmetic inner product formula so that the places with local root number \((-1)\) are allowed to be ramified.2026-02-02T18:59:39Z74 pages, comments are welcome. arXiv admin note: text overlap with arXiv:2006.06139, arXiv:2101.09485 by other authorsZhuoni Chihttp://arxiv.org/abs/2603.21009v2Lie-algebraic incompleteness of symmetry-adapted VQE for non-Abelian molecular point groups2026-05-19T22:37:58ZSymmetry-adapted variational quantum eigensolvers (VQE) based on the Unitary Coupled-Cluster ansatz (SymUCCSD) effectively reduce the parameter count for Abelian molecular point groups. For non-Abelian groups, they systematically fail, without a theoretical explanation. In this work, we prove that the Abelian-subgroup restriction induces a spurious splitting of multidimensional irreducible representations, prematurely discarding cross-component excitations. At the Lie-algebraic level, this filter confines the Dynamical Lie Algebra (DLA) to the Abelian subalgebra $\mathfrak{u}(1)^{d_λ}$, restricting the reachable state manifold to a measure-zero torus $\mathbb{T}^{d_λ}$. However, completing the algebra is insufficient on its own, due to a numerical obstruction. Molecular orbitals adapted solely to an Abelian subgroup produce cross-component integrals that vanish identically, creating a zero-gradient plateau along non-Abelian algebraic directions. A proof-of-principle experiment on NH$_3$/STO-3G ($C_{3v}$, 16 qubits) confirms both the predicted DLA confinement and the gradient plateau, with SymUCCSD converging to an error of $21.8$ mHa above the FCI energy despite full optimizer convergence. Our analysis provides an algebraic and geometric diagnosis of the observed numerical breakdown, establishing that recovering full equivariant dynamics requires both the inclusion of complete off-diagonal generators and the independent parametrization of cross-component excitations.2026-03-22T02:07:45ZLeon D. da SilvaMarcelo P. Santoshttp://arxiv.org/abs/1806.05094v3A combinatorial approach to scattering diagrams2026-05-19T18:33:35ZScattering diagrams arose in the context of mirror symmetry, but a special class of scattering diagrams (the cluster scattering diagrams) were recently developed to prove key structural results on cluster algebras. We use the connection to cluster algebras to calculate the function attached to the limiting wall of a rank-2 cluster scattering diagram of affine type. In the skew-symmetric rank-2 affine case, this recovers a formula due to Reineke. In the same case, we show that the generating function for signed Narayana numbers appears in a role analogous to a cluster variable. In acyclic finite type, we construct cluster scattering diagrams of acyclic finite type from Cambrian fans and sortable elements, with a simple direct proof.2018-06-13T14:51:54ZThe second half of arXiv:1712.06968, which was originally "Scattering diagrams and scattering fans". The construction generalizes Fomin's growth diagrams and Viennot's shadow lines for the classical Robinson-Schensted correspondence on the symmetric group, and is dual to the affine matrix ball construction as well as Shi's correspondence, in the sense that the $P$-tabloids are the same, and the $Q$-tabloids are related by affine evacuation. As a consequence, our construction also parametrizes Kazhdan-Lusztig cells in affine type $A$. We conjecture that the growth diagrams we construct admit a natural geometric realization in terms of relative positions of affine flags, similar to the interpretation given by Steinberg and van Leeuwen in the classical case.2026-05-19T18:32:29Z24 pagesDaoji HuangSylvester W. Using a recent formula that expresses numerical Demazure multiplicities as coefficients of such quotients, we prove a general eventual non-negativity theorem for the same rational functions that compute these multiplicities: each quotient either terminates or has strictly positive coefficients for sufficiently large degrees, which we in turn interpret in terms of matchings and bounded walks. In several natural infinite families, these are unsigned bounded Dyck path models, giving both a structural explanation for the observed positivity phenomenon and concrete combinatorial models for key families of Demazure multiplicities. The theorems in this paper were autonomously produced and formalized in Lean/Mathlib by AxiomProver from natural-language statements.2026-04-28T05:52:03ZAddressed minor comments from the two refereesRekha BiswalKen OnoJujian Zhanghttp://arxiv.org/abs/2605.20131v1Haiman's Conjecture and Springer's Representations2026-05-19T17:15:49ZFor any connected complex reductive group $G$ and element $z$ of its Weyl group $W$, we use work of Lusztig and Abreu-Nigro to compute the graded $W$-character of the intersection cohomology of any closed Lusztig variety for $z$ over the regular semisimple locus of $G$. We relate the resulting formula to unipotent Lusztig varieties, giving a new geometric model for unicellular LLT polynomials. We then consider Laurent polynomials $α_{ψ, G}^z$ indexed by irreducible characters $ψ$, encoding how our formula decomposes into ungraded characters arising from the Springer theory of $G$. From evidence in low rank, we conjecture that if $ψ$ is inflated from type $A$ in a particular way, then the nonzero coefficients of $α_{ψ, G}^z$ are positive and unimodal. This offers an answer to a 1993 question of Haiman about generalizing a conjecture he posed for symmetric groups. We also prove that the matrix formed by the $α_{ψ, G}^z$ is partially triangular, and that their positivity and unimodality properties are stable under inclusions of Levi subgroups.2026-05-19T17:15:49Z38 pagesMinh-Tâm Quang Trinhhttp://arxiv.org/abs/2605.19983v1Tensor triangular geometry -- Notes for an Oberwolfach Seminar2026-05-19T15:24:11ZThese are the notes from lectures I gave at the Oberwolfach Seminar "Tensor Triangular Geometry and Interactions" which was held in October 2025. We give sufficient conditions for $\mathcal{L}(G,ω)$ to be a graded distributive lattice, recovering Kauffman's Clock Theorem when $G$ is a knot diagram. We also define a potential on $\mathcal{Q} G$ and associate a representation of the corresponding quiver with potential to every BMS state. Under suitable assumptions, this construction yields an isomorphism between $\mathcal{L}(G,ω)$ and the lattice of subrepresentations of a maximal representation, generalizing a result of Bazier-Matte--Schiffler.2026-05-19T14:02:30Z27 pages, 9 figuresGiovanni Cerulli IrelliDomenico FiorenzaEugenio LandiMichele Matteuccihttp://arxiv.org/abs/2605.03421v2A connection between minimal nilpotent orbits of types A and D via Hamiltonian reduction2026-05-19T13:31:10ZWe establish a novel connection between the minimal nilpotent orbit $\mathbb{O}_n$ in $\mathfrak{sl}_n$ and the minimal nilpotent orbit closure $\overline{\mathbf{O}}_n$ in $\mathfrak{so}_{2n+2}$, which differs from the shared-orbit paradigm of Brylinski and Kostant, where no direct type-A--type-D relation appears. More precisely, we show that the affine closure of the cotangent bundle $\overline{T^*\mathbb{O}_n}^{\mathrm{aff}}$ is isomorphic to a $\mathbb{C}^*$-Hamiltonian reduction of $\overline{\mathbf{O}}_n$. This provides a quasi-classical analogue of a quantum result of Levasseur and Stafford. A detailed study of the geometry of this Hamiltonian reduction reveals that $\overline{T^*\mathbb{O}_n}^{\mathrm{aff}}$ has no symplectic resolution.2026-05-05T06:52:27Z26 pages, minor revision. We compute the scheme-theoretic multiplicities of core Lagrangians, as well as the equivariant multiplicities of the very stable ones. Furthermore, we extend the notion of equivariant multiplicity to wobbly components and compute it for Hilbert schemes of two points. Inspired by Eisenstein series functor in Dolbeault Langlands correspondence, we propose that upward flows of very stable ideals are mirror dual to modified Procesi bundles, and justify this claim through numerical checks. Finally, we make some conjectures about extending this picture to wobbly upward flows.2026-02-16T16:30:52Zv2: added Remark 1.1 speculating that the bundles P_I are hyperholomorphic. v1: 44 pages, 4 tables, 4 figuresAlexandre MinetsFilip Živanovićhttp://arxiv.org/abs/2605.19708v1Reduction and inverse-reduction functors I: standard $\mathsf{V^k}(\mathfrak{sl}_2)$-modules2026-05-19T11:46:08ZQuantum hamiltonian reduction is a fundamental tool of conformal field theory and vertex algebra representation theory. It has traditionally been applied to study highest-weight modules. On the other hand, inverse quantum hamiltonian reduction lends itself to the study of fully relaxed highest-weight modules and their spectral flows, sometimes called the standard modules. This is the first of several papers that study the composition of reduction and inverse-reduction functors. A general formalism is presented and exemplified with the simplest example, thereby computing the action of reduction on the standard modules of the affine vertex-operator algebra associated with $\mathfrak{sl}_2$. The appearence of unbounded spectral sequences in this formalism may be of independent interest.2026-05-19T11:46:08ZJustine FasquelEthan FursmanDavid Ridouthttp://arxiv.org/abs/2507.02185v4Classification of five-qubit absolutely maximally entangled states2026-05-19T11:17:12ZWe classify the local unitary equivalence classes of absolutely maximally entangled (AME) states of five qubits. We show that every 5-qubit AME state is equivalent to a state within the unique ((5,2,3)) quantum error-correcting code $\mathcal{C}$, and that two such states are equivalent if and only if they are related by the action of a transversal gate of $\mathcal{C}$. Furthermore, we exhibit a set of three invariant polynomials that separates these equivalence classes. As auxiliary results, we construct a 3-uniform $n$-qubit state for even $n\geq 6$, determine the local symmetries of the 6-qubit AME state, and explain how these symmetries are related to the transversal gates of both the ((5,2,3)) and ((4,4,2)) codes. Additionally, we demonstrate that every 4-qubit pure code of distance 2 is equivalent to a subspace of a ((4,4,2)) code. Our approach leverages an embedding of the 4-qubit state space into the Lie algebra of $8\times 8$ skew-symmetric matrices, allowing us to apply results from Vinberg's theory of graded Lie algebras.2025-07-02T22:45:10Z24 pages, 2 tablesIan Tanhttp://arxiv.org/abs/2604.25198v2The local Langlands correspondence of essentially unipotent supercuspidal representations for disconnected reductive groups2026-05-19T11:10:56ZWe construct the local Langlands correspondence of essentially unipotent supercuspidal representations under the framework of rigid inner forms and prove a certaion functoriality and compatibilities.
