For an open compact subgroup $\mathcal{U}$ of $G$ and a unital commutative ring $k$, we let $\mathbf{X}_{\mathcal{U}}$ denote the space of compactly supported $k$-valued functions on $G/\mathcal{U}$. Building on work of Ollivier--Schneider, we investigate the graded $\textrm{Ext}$-algebra $E_{\mathcal{U}}^* := \textrm{Ext}_G^*(\mathbf{X}_{\mathcal{U}},\mathbf{X}_{\mathcal{U}})^{\textrm{op}}$. In particular, we describe the Yoneda product, an involutive anti-automorphism, and (when $k$ is a field of characteristic $p$ and $\mathcal{U}$ has no $p$-torsion) a duality operation. We allow for the reductive group to be non-split, and for the open compact subgroup $\mathcal{U}$ to be non-pro-$p$. Specializing further to the case $G = \textrm{SL}_2(\mathbb{Q}_p)$ with $p \geq 5$ and a coefficient field of characteristic $p$, we obtain more precise results when $\mathcal{U}$ is equal to an Iwahori subgroup $J$ or a hyperspecial maximal compact subgroup $K$. In particular, we compute the structure of $E_J^*$ as an $E_J^0$-bimodule, obtain an explicit description of the center $\mathcal{Z}(E_J^*)$ of $E_J^*$, and construct a surjective morphism of algebras $\mathcal{Z}(E_J^*) \longrightarrow E_K^*$ (analogous to the compatibility between Bernstein and Satake isomorphisms in characteristic 0). From this we deduce the (somewhat surprising) fact that $E_K^*$ is not graded-commutative, contrary to what happens for almost all $\ell$-modular characteristics. 2024-07-22T15:06:28Z 52 pages, with an appendix joint with David Schwein. This enables the derivation of an equivariant K-theoretic realization of affine iquantum groups of type AIII with three parameters. We show that the crystal structure can be algebraically lifted to the generic basis of the upper cluster algebra. This can be viewed as an additive categorification of the crystal structure arising from cluster algebras. We introduce the biperfect bases in the cluster algebra setting and give a description of all biperfect bases, which are parametrized by lattice points in a product of polyhedral sets. We illustrate this theory from classical examples and new examples. 2023-09-15T11:29:24Z 65 pages, comments are welcome; v2. minor corrections, 10.3 deleted; v3. minor corrections, more details are given Jiarui Fei http://arxiv.org/abs/2606.15595v1 The Coxeter transformation as an automorphism of the Tamarkin--Tsygan calculus 2026-06-14T04:35:16Z Let $A$ be a finite-dimensional algebra over a field $\kk$. We show that the Auslander--Reiten bimodule $\ar_A:=\D A[-1]$ is central in the derived Picard group of $A$ and that, when $\gldim A<\infty$, it induces through the derived-invariance functor $\HB$ of \cite{Armenta19,ArmentaKeller17,ArmentaKeller19} a canonical automorphism $σ_A$ of the Tamarkin--Tsygan calculus of $A$; the pair $(\HB(A),σ_A)$ is invariant under derived equivalence. We then compute both components of $σ_A$. On the Hochschild homology of an elementary algebra, which is concentrated in degree zero, the matrix of $σ_A$ in the basis of idempotent traces is $-C_A^{-1}C_A^{\mathrm{T}}$, so its characteristic polynomial is the Coxeter polynomial; the enriched calculus strictly refines both the calculus and the Coxeter polynomial, as the path algebras of quivers of types $\mathbb{A}_4$ and $\mathbb{D}_4$ show, although it is not a complete derived invariant, as the smallest cospectral pair of trees shows. On Hochschild cohomology we prove that $σ_A$ is the identity: the left and right actions of $\HH^\bullet(A)$ on the bimodule $\D A$ coincide for every finite-dimensional $A$. This yields a short conceptual proof that the Nakayama automorphism of a Frobenius algebra acts trivially on Hochschild cohomology, recovering a recent theorem of Suárez-Álvarez. Finally we extend the construction to smooth and proper differential graded algebras, hence to perfect derived categories of smooth projective varieties; the enrichment degenerates precisely on Calabi--Yau categories, and on $\PP^n$ it is governed by the Coxeter polynomial $(x+(-1)^n)^{n+1}$ of the Beilinson algebra. Happel's trace formula and de la Peña's cyclotomicity theorem for fractionally Calabi--Yau algebras become statements internal to the enriched calculus. 2026-06-14T04:35:16Z 28 pages Marco Armenta http://arxiv.org/abs/2606.15537v1 Mutations of simple-minded collections revisited 2026-06-14T01:40:37Z Simple-minded collections in the bounded derived category $\mathsf{D}^\mathrm{b}(\operatorname{\mathsf{mod}} A)$ are necessary tools in tilting theory of finite dimensional algebras, as well as silting complexes in the perfect derived category $\mathsf{K}^\mathrm{b}(\operatorname{\mathsf{proj}} A)$. In this paper, we give an explicit mutation formula of simple-minded collections at arbitary direct summands, which is compatible with that of silting complexes. Though this mutation formula may be known to experts, we provide a thorough proof for completeness and future reference. Then we use our formula to revisit $τ$-tilting theory in terms of mutations of 2-term simple-minded collections, including their relationship with maximal/minimal completions of 2-term presilting complexes and $τ$-tilting reduction. 2026-06-14T01:40:37Z 27 pages Sota Asai http://arxiv.org/abs/1704.03778v4 Critical groups for Hopf algebra modules 2026-06-13T18:22:06Z This paper considers an invariant of modules over a finite-dimensional Hopf algebra, called the critical group. This generalizes the critical groups of complex finite group representations studied by Benkart, Klivans, Reiner and Gaetz. A formula is given for the cardinality of the critical group generally, and the critical group for the regular representation is described completely. A key role in the formulas is played by the greatest common divisor of the dimensions of the indecomposable projective representations. 2017-04-12T14:50:46Z 24 pages. Comments are welcome! We construct a category mod $\widehat{\operatorname{W}}(\mathrm{Q})$ and relate it to $\mathbb{C}Q$ modules with $\mathbb{C}^{\times}$-actions. We further describe a subcategory $\widehat{\operatorname{W}}_{T}(\mathrm{Q})$ equivalent to the category of equivariant modules where $\mathbb{C}^{\times}$ acts on $\mathbb{C}Q$ via a character $T \in \mathbb{Z}^{Q_1}.$ This allows us to study $\mathbb{C}^{\times}$-actions on quiver Grassmannians and we can recover known combinatorial descriptions of their Euler characteristics via the category mod $\widehat{\operatorname{W}}(\mathrm{Q}).$ We directly relate morphisms of quivers to full subcategories of mod $\widehat{\operatorname{W}}(\mathrm{Q}).$ Finally we show that the representation theory of quivers with idempotents can be applied in a useful way to preprojective algebras. We show that this gives constructions of Galois covers and cluster characters used by Geiss, Leclerc, and Schröer. 2026-06-13T17:06:31Z 38 pages. As an application, we deduce interesting vanishing results, used in our previous work to study the quantum $K$-ring of $\mathrm{Gr}(r,N)$. In the genus-zero case, we prove a simplified formula involving Schur functions, consistent with the Borel--Weil--Bott theorem in the degree-zero setting. These new formulas offer a novel approach for computing the structure constants of quantum $K$-products. 2024-10-30T22:34:24Z Edits following referee report; to appear in the Journal of the London Mathematical Society Shubham Sinha Ming Zhang http://arxiv.org/abs/2606.15274v1 A classification of derived-discrete graded algebras 2026-06-13T12:16:07Z A finite-dimensional algebra is derived-discrete, in the sense of Vossieck, precisely when it is a piecewise hereditary algebra of Dynkin type or a gentle one-cycle algebra not satisfying the clock condition. Building on the discrete triangulated categories of Broomhead, Pauksztello, and Ploog, we study derived-discreteness for locally finite non-positively graded algebras, regarded as connective locally finite dg algebras with trivial differential. Our main result extends Vossieck's classification to this setting: such a graded algebra is derived-discrete if and only if it is graded Morita equivalent to a piecewise hereditary algebra of Dynkin type, or it is a graded gentle one-cycle algebra not satisfying the graded clock condition. Along the way, using surface models we prove the conjecture of Kalck and Yang that the graded clock condition is invariant under derived equivalence. We also establish a restriction on semi-orthogonal decompositions of the bounded derived category of a path algebra of Dynkin type $D$. 2026-06-13T12:16:07Z 21 pages. All comments are welcome! This class naturally extends the recently defined class of rings in \cite{daoa} and \cite{dam}, as well as expectedly generalizes previously explored concepts such as $UJ$, $UU$ and $UQ$ rings. We conduct here a comprehensive structural analysis of these $n$-$UQ$ rings and study their stability under various ring-theoretic constructions including matrix rings, group rings, trivial extensions and power series rings. As a result, several new characterizations are established, thus revealing relevant connections between $n$-$UQ$ rings and fundamental classes of rings such as reduced, clean, exchange, semi-regular and potent rings, respectively. Moreover, we prove that the classes of $n$-$UJ$ and $n$-$UU$ rings are properly contained in the class of $n$-$UQ$ rings. These achievements not only unify and expand existing theories in this branch, but also provide a robust framework for possible further investigations into the interplay between the unit behavior and quasi-nilpotency in noncommutative ring theory. 2026-06-13T08:59:25Z 13 pages Peter Danchev Mina Doostalizadeh Omid Hasanzadeh http://arxiv.org/abs/2606.15185v1 The Opdam-Cherednik kernel is the Laplace transform of a positive measure 2026-06-13T08:16:06Z We prove that the Opdam-Cherednik kernel, also known as the nonsymmetric Opdam hypergeometric function, can be written as the Laplace transform of a positive measure supported on the convex hull of the Weyl group orbit of its argument. For cluster quiver patterns (equivalently, cluster algebras) of infinite rank, we define maximal green sequences of infinite length via $c$-vectors. Moreover, we prove that under suitable conditions such a maximal green sequence in a cluster quiver pattern of infinite rank can be categorified as a maximal green sequence of torsion classes in the corresponding representation category via a specific construction, thereby providing an example of a maximal green sequence in an abelian length category.
