On the pure braid group it corresponds to Haraoka's multiplicative middle convolution for KZ-type equations. For unitary input and a convolution parameter on the unit circle other than one, the construction equips the quotient representation with a canonical non-degenerate invariant Hermitian form. We give a closed formula for its signature in terms of the eigenangles of the input local monodromies, the eigenangles of their ordered product, and the convolution parameter. The formula accounts for the kernel of the form before passage to the quotient and for signature changes at resonant parameters. It determines precisely when the induced form is definite, answering the definiteness problem posed in the companion paper. Definiteness implies unitarizability of the output representation; the converse holds when that representation is irreducible.
The proof uses elementary linear algebra: a determinant identity, explicit block-pivot formulas, and an inertia formula for sums of Cayley transforms of unitary matrices. As applications, we compare the rank-one construction explicitly with Haraoka's invariant form for Pochhammer systems, recover the Gauss case of the Beukers-Heckman interlacing criterion, and determine the definite parameter intervals for the Hecke and Temperley-Lieb specializations.2026-09-10T16:46:58ZHaru Negamihttp://arxiv.org/abs/2606.31809v2Quantum Stokes matrices and quantum Riemann-Hilbert-Birkhoff maps2026-09-10T16:29:06ZIn this paper, we define quantum Stokes matrices of meromorphic linear systems of ordinary differential equations with noncommutative coefficients and a pole of order $p+1$. We prove that these quantum Stokes matrices satisfy natural quantum exchange relations. These relations allow us to interpret the quantum Stokes matrices as an associative algebra homomorphism, which may be viewed as a quantization of the Riemann-Hilbert-Birkhoff map, regarded as a Poisson map, for meromorphic connections.2026-06-30T15:25:25Z38 pagesXiaomeng Xuhttp://arxiv.org/abs/1603.07952v3Mass-like invariants for asymptotically hyperbolic metrics. Part I: Classification2026-09-10T14:56:29ZIn this article, we classify the set of asymptotic mass-like invariants for asymptotically hyperbolic metrics. It turns out that the standard mass is just one example among the two families of invariants we find. These invariants correspond to finite-dimensional representations of the group of isometries of hyperbolic space. We describe these invariants in terms of wave-harmonic polynomials and polynomial solutions of the linearized Einstein equations in Minkowski space.2016-03-25T16:37:06Z68 pages, section on higher order invariants removedPure and Applied Mathematics Quarterly, Volume 22 (2026), Number 3, 831-911Julien CortierMattias DahlRomain Gicquaud10.4310/PAMQ.260512221838http://arxiv.org/abs/2503.21648v3On triple product $L$-functions and the fiber bundle method2026-09-10T14:52:41ZWe introduce multi-variable zeta integrals which unfold to Euler products representing the triple product $L$-function times a product of $L$-functions with known analytic properties. We then formulate a generalization of the Poisson summation conjecture and show how it implies the analytic properties of triple product $L$-functions. Finally, we propose a strategy, the fiber bundle method, to reduce this generalized conjecture to a simpler case of the Poisson summation conjecture along with certain local compatibility statements.2025-03-27T16:12:53ZRemoved reliance on half-densities and shortened the paper by 17 pages. This motivates a classification method by studying coarser spectral invariants arising from the characteristic polynomial of the adjoint representation. We prove that the characteristic polynomial is determined by the generalized weights of the adjoint action on the nilradical. This addresses the problem of expressing the spectral index in Lie-theoretic terms, gives sharp bounds in terms of the nilradical and quotient dimensions, and characterizes spectral equivalence. We then resolve a second problem concerning the higher Betti numbers of the eigenvariety complement. We endow the distinct non-$z_0$ factors of the characteristic polynomial with a natural matroid structure, which we call the spectral matroid, and use the Orlik--Solomon algebra of the associated hyperplane arrangement to determine the Betti numbers and Poincaré polynomial combinatorially and to prove log-concavity of the Betti sequence. Finally, we apply our theory to solvable Lie algebras with abelian nilradical to obtain explicit characteristic polynomials and spectral-equivalence criteria, including examples of non-isomorphic algebras with identical characteristic polynomials.2025-09-25T07:29:03Z36 pagesGary HuRongwei Yanghttp://arxiv.org/abs/2608.10049v3Virtually Gorenstein Artin algebras are weakly Gorenstein2026-09-10T13:39:38ZWe prove that all (possibly infinitely generated) semi-Gorenstein-projective modules over a virtually Gorenstein Artin algebra are Gorenstein projective. We also establish a new criterion for determining the projective (injective) dimensions of modules over virtually Gorenstein Artin algebras. This enables us to show the validities of the Auslander-Gorenstein Conjecture, the (Strong) Nakayama Conjecture and Tachikawa's First Conjecture for virtually Gorenstein Artin algebras. We prove that the finiteness of this dimension is an intrinsic property of the triangulated category itself and, therefore, independent of the choice of the silting object. Focusing on the setup of connective differential graded (dg) algebras, we analyse the behaviour of global dimension under dg algebra homomorphisms and establish explicit bounds. This allows us to deduce a bound for the global dimension of certain dg quiver algebras. We also relate the regularity of the big singularity category of a proper connective dg algebra to the finiteness of its global dimension.2026-04-15T10:25:41Z11 pages, comments welcomePanagiotis Kostashttp://arxiv.org/abs/2609.11471v1Gelfand--Tsetlin bases for representations of $\mathrm U_{q}(\mathfrak{gl}_n)$ at roots of unity2026-09-10T12:39:42ZIn this paper, we construct Gelfand--Tsetlin bases for representations of $\mathrm U_q(\mathfrak{gl}_n)$ at roots of unity. The geodesics are helices labelled by a charge $λ$ in the dual of the center. Using the group Fourier transform we prove a Fourier slice theorem, which identifies the transform restricted to the geodesics of charge $λ$ as a Fourier restriction to their visible frequencies $Γ_λ^*$, a family of parallel hyperplanes of central frequencies dual to the central advance of the helices, followed by an explicit operator-valued multiplier. We characterize the sets of charges $Z$ whose geodesics determine an integrable function, one direction for each $λ\in Z$ sufficing, as exactly those for which $\bigcup_{λ\in Z}Γ_λ^*$ is dense. In particular the full transform is injective, and when the center has dimension at least two, charges of a single magnitude suffice provided their directions fill a circle. Averaging the normal operator over the horizontal directions gives a joint spectral multiplier of the sub-Laplacian and the central derivatives, whose eigenvalues we compute. This yields, outside the first Heisenberg group, a sharp stability estimate at fixed charge and central frequency with the loss of exactly half a derivative in the sub-Laplacian, as for the Euclidean X-ray transform. Finally we describe which central frequencies of $f$ are determined by a band or a cap of charges, namely all sufficiently high ones, the bounded remainder being recovered only by analytic continuation, in contrast with Euclidean limited-angle tomography.2023-12-01T14:00:58Zv2: title changed. As a consequence, we can show that the image of an intertwining operator is always semi-simple and give a lower bound on the order of its pole, which is conjectured to be an equality as well as an upper bound in terms of the singular support of certain perverse sheaves. Moreover, we are able to reduce the conjecture of Lapid and Mínguez on the shape of irreducible subrepresentations of induced representations to a computation of characteristic cycles. The theory of mixed Hodge modules plays a crucial role in the proofs.2026-08-29T14:54:49ZRevisions in Section 3 and 4Johannes Droschlhttp://arxiv.org/abs/2508.04303v2Intertwining Algebras and Affine Hecke Algebras for Finite Central Extensions of Classical $p$-adic Groups with Application to Metaplectic Groups2026-09-10T10:56:02ZFor a finite central extension $\tilde{G}$ of a classical $p$-adic reductive group, we consider the endomorphism algebra of some induced projective generator à la Bernstein of the category of smooth representations of $\tilde{G}$. In the case where the Levi subgroups decompose, we compute this algebra to get a result similar to the one previously obtained by the first author for classical $p$-adic groups, showing that this intertwining algebra is a twisted semi-direct product of an affine Hecke algebra with parameters by a twisted finite group algebra. We discuss also the case with non-decomposed Levi subgroups.
We then give an application to the category of genuine representations of a $p$-adic metaplectic group. Using results of C. Mœglin relative to the Howe correspondence, we show that the Bernstein components of these groups are equivalent to tensor products of categories of unipotent representations of classical groups. This generalizes a previous result of the first author. It implies an equivalence of categories between the category of genuine representations of the $p$-adic metaplectic group and the direct sums of those of smooth representations of the corresponding split odd special orthogonal group and its pure inner form.2025-08-06T10:41:43Z56 pages. Our main tool is a matrix-valued Golod--Shafarevich--Vinberg inequality for quotients of completed path algebras by finitely many, possibly nonhomogeneous, topological relations. Applied to cyclic derivatives, it yields a potential-dependent obstruction to the finite-dimensionality of completed Jacobian algebras. We then construct a purely quiver-level criterion excluding every Jacobi-finite potential on a given quiver, and exhibit a family of quivers for which every potential has an infinite-dimensional Jacobian algebra.2026-09-10T08:09:03ZWen ChangQuanYu Tang
